If you are looking for dependable IT support in Newbury, Elmdale IT Services Ltd can help your organisation keep systems secure, users supported and projects under control. We support businesses, schools and charities with managed IT support, Microsoft 365, cyber security, wireless networking, VoIP and practical technology planning.
Elmdale IT Services Ltd helps Newbury organisations reduce downtime, improve user productivity and make better technology decisions. Our support covers desktops, laptops, servers, Microsoft 365, cloud services, wireless networks, printers, VoIP phones and security systems. We aim to resolve issues quickly, explain recommendations clearly and build long-term relationships with the organisations we support.
Every organisation is different. Some need a fully managed IT support contract with proactive monitoring and regular reviews. Others need project support, an independent IT audit, a Microsoft 365 migration, a wireless survey or additional cyber security expertise. We tailor the service around your users, sites, budget, compliance needs and growth plans.
For many organisations, the biggest IT risk is not one major failure but a build-up of small unresolved problems. For Newbury and the surrounding area, our model is rapid local support from our Aldermaston base, with strong Reading, Newbury and wider Berkshire coverage. We combine responsive helpdesk support with structured consultancy, cloud migration, network design and cyber security improvements, giving you one team to turn to for day-to-day support and longer-term planning.
Cyber security is no longer just a technical issue. It affects operations, reputation, insurance, compliance and customer confidence. We help Newbury organisations put sensible controls in place, including multi-factor authentication, secure device management, endpoint protection, email security, patching, backup strategy, staff awareness and Cyber Essentials preparation.
Our approach is practical and proportionate. We explain risks in plain English, prioritise the actions that matter most and help you build evidence of improvement over time. This is especially valuable for regulated businesses, schools, professional services firms and organisations handling sensitive data.

Many businesses already pay for Microsoft 365 but do not get the full value from it. We can help with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, secure file sharing, conditional access, device management, backup and user training. Where your organisation still depends on local servers or legacy systems, we can create a staged cloud roadmap that reduces risk and avoids unnecessary disruption.
For hybrid and remote working, we focus on secure access, clear permissions, reliable collaboration and simple support. Staff should be able to work confidently whether they are in the office, at home, visiting customers or moving between sites.
A strong network is the foundation for good IT. We design, install and support wired and wireless networks for offices, schools, hospitality venues, warehouses and multi-site organisations. This can include switching, VLANs, guest WiFi, secure staff WiFi, site-to-site connectivity, wireless surveys, cabinet tidying and performance troubleshooting.
We also support modern VoIP phone systems, including 3CX, to help organisations simplify communications, support remote users and replace ageing telephone systems. Where connectivity, firewalling, WiFi and telephony need to work together, Elmdale IT can design the complete solution rather than treating each part separately.
We offer a range of support and maintenance plans to match your requirements and budget. Whether you need ongoing support or help with a specific project, our solutions scale with your business.
From security and maintenance to full-service offerings, we’re here to help.
Retail teams need reliable tills, WiFi, stock systems, cloud access and secure payment-connected networks. Charities need cost-effective Microsoft 365, secure collaboration and support that respects tight budgets. Schools need safe, reliable technology that supports teaching, safeguarding, administration and leadership reporting.
Whether you are a small business that needs straightforward support, a school looking for safer and more reliable systems, or a growing organisation planning a cloud migration, we can help you build an IT environment that is easier to manage and more secure.
